Remembrance Morning

Mars Class has a wonderful morning remembering all those who died in the war by creating some beautiful artwork. Each child in Mars (as well as Mrs Williams and I) added their own poppy on our collaborative piece to remember the brave soldiers.

The Big First Aid Lesson Live

On Friday 3rd November 2017 the whole school took part in 'The big first aid lesson live' which was run by St John Ambulance. We all bundled into the hall to watch the live stream lesson which included lots of interactive activities. This years theme was Bonfire Night and the children learnt some life saving skills such as what do do when someone gets burnt, what to do when someone is choking, as well as when to call an ambulance. The staff were all very impressed at how well the children listened and responded when it was time for them to practise some of the skills.
