This week, our enhanced provision theme has been "We are mark makers!"
Reception have been learning the sounds m, g, o—these will be added to their phonics packs on Monday.
Year 1 have been exploring alternative sounds for 'a' and 'c', while Year 2 have been investigating what happens to a 'y' when a suffix is added in spelling.

In maths, we've been ordering numbers to 20 and using a number line. Our mastery sessions focused on partitioning numbers to 5, and in Reception Maths, we've been counting and subitising up to 3. We've also been practising our number formation—I hope my little video of our rhyme helps with home practice!

In Science, we became material hunters, recording which materials were the most popular.
In Music, Year 1 & 2 have been learning to play the glockenspiel, and in RE we read 'The Good Samaritan' and discussed what makes us good Samaritans.

Finally, in Outdoor Learning, we’ve been designing what should go in our flower beds and have started weeding them.
