This week our enhanced provision was still running with the theme of our bodies. The children loved the body puzzle and exploring the walkie talkie cups.

In phonics the children have learnt e, u and r these will be added to receptions phonics packs on Monday. Year 1 have been learning alternative ow sounds.

In English we planned our own where the wild things are story, making sure we are writing chefs kiss single clause sentences. In maths we have moved onto addition and using a variety of resources to support them independently.

We have been drawing from perspective in art, in science the children were testing the properties of materials. The children also were exploring the new autumn scenery the trees in our field have produced.
