Culture and Diversity day
Our Culture and diversity Day is a celebration of diversity, curiosity and respect. We encouraged children to share a culture that is part of their own identity or one they admire and would like to learn more about. This might be through traditional clothing, music, stories, languages, flags or customs.
The children spoke confidently about their experiences and interests, listen to others with respect, and recognise both similarities and differences across cultures. By celebrating cultures from around the world, we hope to promote understanding, inclusion and pride, helping our pupils to develop a strong sense of belonging and an appreciation of the wider world.
Maths and Science Day
On the 18th December 2025, our children dived into an exciting day of learning as we celebrate Maths and Science Day with the theme of Measurement! ![]()
The children engaged in three hands-on activities designed to make measurement fun and interactive. Mars and Little Stars created their own sycamore seeds and measured the distance they could travel. The children showed great enthusiasm whilst exploring measurement. Meanwhile, Jupiter and Saturn had been putting their bodies to the test by measuring the distances they can run, skip, and hop. Lots of energy, teamwork, and mathematical thinking on display!
At the end of the day, they were awarded with Certificates of Achievement to our Super Scientists and Magical Mathematicians for outstanding participation and enthusiasm!
Rocksteady Concert
What an incredible performance this morning from the Rocksteady bands!
The musicians absolutely nailed it, and it was such a fantastic display of talent and teamwork. A huge thank you to everyone involved for making this event a success!
European Day of Languages
Today is European Day of Languages! We celebrated by getting together, remembering lots of greetings we know in other languages, learning that there are over 200 different languages spoken across Europe and by singing a new song about days of the week (in French)! I wonder how many of the children will be able to remember to share with you?

Year 4 Grafham Residential Trip
Our Year 4 children had an unforgettable time at Grafham Water, where they embraced the great outdoors and challenged themselves in new ways. From exciting group activities to peaceful moments in nature, they worked together, built resilience, and made memories that will last a lifetime. Whether they were on land or near the water, laughter and teamwork were at the heart of every moment. We’re so proud of how they represented our school!
