W.C 18th May:

Please enter an introduction for your blog post here.

This  week in Maths we have looked at statistics. We spent time recapping our understanding of pictograms. Then we moved onto reading and interpreting line graphs and two way data tables. In English, we read Great and The Giants. We spent time recapping our understanding of Biographies and then learnt all about Gre ta Thunberg. We ended the week by writing a biography about her. In Topic we described why tropical rainforests are important and we discussed the threats to the Amazon. In RE, we discussed how the Ten Commandments help Christian and Jewish people. In Science both year groups had their last lesson of the unit. The year 3s learnt about the structure of seeds and their importance as a food source. The year 4s explored the human impact on habitats and environments. In our Art lesson we experimented with materials and explained how we can change them to create texture. The year 4s have been working hard on some more practice for the multiplication check which will be coming up after half term (any practice over the half term will be great if possible!) Finally, we found out what the KS2 play is and spent some time listening to the songs.

Have a fab half term! 🙂
