This week in maths we started our work with length and perimeter. We spent time practicing our measuring skills in centimetres and millimetres. Then we moved onto looking at equivalent measurements. In English we looked at persuasive writing. We spent time looking at different techniques and then planning and writing our own persuasive leaflet focused on persuading people to visit Egypt. In Science the year 3s looked at magnets, we spent time discussing what a magnet is and which objects in our classroom are magnetic or non-magnetic. The year 4s started exploring circuits and what is needed to make a working circuit. In French the year 3s looked at naming body parts and the year 4s discussed fruit and being able to say the sentence I would like... In Computing we explored branching databases in more detail by creating our own. In PSHE we had our first lesson focused financial capability and we discussed different ways of gaining money. Finally in Art we spent time exploring different viewpoints and camera angles.
