Week commencing 22nd September

Jupiter class have been busy this week. Year 4 have been to Graham and Year 3 have been enjoying their learning in school.
Today, we were lucky enough to do some teamwork in PE with Mrs Osbourne. We thought about how we could support team-mates physically and verbally and the different roles we might be able to play in a team.
In Science this week, we have been learning about different types of skeletons - please chat to the children and see if they can remember what endoskeletons, exoskeletons and hydro skeletons are. Linked to this, we enjoyed a whole-class reading of 'Superworm' at the end of the day.
We also joined the rest of the school this afternoon to celebrate European Day of Languages. We learnt that there are over 200 different languages spoken in Europe and had a go at trying some new words.
Well done Year 3. I have really enjoyed spending time with you this week. Have a fab weekend so you're ready to welcome Miss Smith and the Year 4 children back to school on Monday. ![]()
