W.C 1^st December:

This week in Maths we have finished our work with multiplication and division. We spent time looking at our 7s, 11s and 12s then ended the week with dividing a number by 1 and itself. In English, we finished our work with The Comet. We spent time writing letters and diary entries in the role of a character. In Topic we used an Anglo-Saxon map to describe locations and distances between Anglo-Saxon settlements. In RE we discussed the significance of food and the Langar in Sikhi and reflected on how sharing food can show equality and community. In Science, the year 3s explained the danger of direct sunlight and describe how to stay protected. The year 4s investigated materials as they change state. We ended the week with a computing lesson focused on how information can be shared via the World Wide Web.
