This week in Maths we have focused on arrays, sharing between equal groups and ensuring we are secure in our 2s, 5s and 10s. In English we continued reading our story Charlottes Web. We spent time writing a letter of advice to Wilbur, recapping our understanding of writing speech and ended the week by writing a non-chronological report about spiders. In Science the YR3s started their work on light and dark by discussing different light sources. The YR4s started their work on states of matter and we spent time discussing the characteristics of each state of matter. In Art we collected different materials to continue our exploring of printing. In Music we carried on our unit of work focusing on songs by Abba. We also spent some time creating some poppies and wreaths ready for next Tuesday.  Unfortunately due to the weather and several PE kits missing suitable clothing, we had to change our PE session to an inside session of mindful yoga.
