This week in Maths we have finished our addition and subtraction unit. We spent time finding complements to 100, estimating and then consolidated our learning on addition and subtraction. In English we started our new unit on Charlottes Web. We listened to some of the story, spent time discussing subordinate clauses and then wrote a collaborative poem. We focused on making it detailed and descriptive, specifically about the setting in the story. In PSHE we identified people of authority and how we can show respect to these people. In French the YR3s spent time learning how to ask someone their age and how to respond, they then created birthday cards in French. The YR4s discussed how to count in 10s in French. In Music we continued our learning of Mamma Mia with the recorder. Finally, we ended the week with an amazing talent show and some Halloween crafts. Have a lovely half term! 🙂
