Please enter an introduction for your blog post here.

This week in Maths we have been finishing our work with Fractions. We spent time converting mixed numbers into improper fractions and discussed equivalent fraction families. In English we planned and wrote our own discursive writing. We discussed why Maths should be taught in schools. In Science the Yr3s spent time looking at the properties of rocks and tested this. The Yr4s investigated whether sound can travel through different materials. A big thank you to the PTA for our dance workshop this week where we learnt and performed a dance to a song from Wonka. Then on World Book Day we watched a live lesson where we played along with a quiz, we chose some of our favourite books and read to Mars Class and we made our own top trump cards based on some of our favourite book characters. We then ended the week by playing a few games with our own top trumps!
