Fractions have been the focus of our maths lessons this week, and will continue to be until the Christmas holidays. Specifically, the children have been finding equivalent fractions with common denominators, in order to add them, by identifying the lowest common multiples. The Year 6s have also been simplifying their answers by finding the highest common factors.

In exciting writing, the children have been continuing the story from the opening they've been given. They were all quite excited about what could possibly be in the surprise box!

Dance has been fun, with the children creating short choreographies in small groups to add to our whole class routine. Next week will be our last PE lesson of the term.
