Week ending 28/11/25
This was careers week! We had lots of visitors in school to talk about the different types of technology they use in their careers. The children found it all incredibly interesting and inspiring. In the classroom, we looked at different types of robots that are used in a range of careers, and the roles of the people who design and make them.
In English, we read 'Ride the Wind' and thought about some of the moral dilemmas the characters in the story faced. We discussed the rights and wrongs of one of the dilemmas and will be using the book further to inspire discursive writing.
Our maths lessons have focused on fractions. This week, we have practised finding equivalent fractions, and have identified the lowest common factors of numerators and denominators in order to simplify fractions.
