Our House Captains read beautifully during our Remembrance service. The whole school gathered on the playground to show their respect.

Also this week:

- In topic, the children learnt about the trade that the ancient Maya conducted before having a go at weaving. 

- In RE, Saturn Class have begun to learn about the beliefs of Humanists, and where these beliefs come from.

- In maths, we have been practising short division. Next week is assessment week, so the children will have an opportunity to apply what they have learnt.

- The children produced some beautiful sketches of plants in our art lesson, using a range of techniques. Next week, they will be using all of their practised skills to produce a still-life drawing.
